Te Wāhanga Tuatahi, Wiki tuaiwa // Term 1, week 9

Tāite, 2 o Apireira, 2026.

Tēnā koutou, e te whānau. Ko ngā mihi aroha o te wā ki a tātou.

1)       HAERENGA KI TE KAHA // TE KAHA TRIP: Thank you, again, to everyone involved with our amazing trip. Special mention and thanks to our parents and whānau who came to support.

2)       RAUTAKI WHAKAMUA // STRATEGIC PLAN: A link to a questionnaire, allowing whānau to feedback on the plan, will sent out soon.

3)       ARANGA // EASTER: A reminder that tomorrow, Friday 3rd April, is Good Friday, so no school. This is followed, next week, by Easter Monday (6th) and Tuesday (7th), so, again, no school. School will resume on Wednesday 8th April.

4)       HUI WHĀNAU: A reminder that we have a Hui Whānau, next week, Week 10, Wednesday 8th April, starting with kai at 5.00pm followed by the hui. Nau mai, haere mai, e te whānau!

5)       END OF TERM 1 DATE – START OF TERM 2: Whānau will note that our kura Term 1 and Term 2 dates are different to other kura. This is due to us starting later, than usual, at the start of this term.  However, it will also mean a shorter Term 2 (10 weeks). Our last day for Term 1, is next Friday 10th April, and our first day for Term 2 will be Tuesday 28th April (Monday 27th April is a public holiday – ANZAC). Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

6)       TŪNGA KURA // NEW STUDENT ENROLMENTS: We are excited to announce that limited places, at all year levels, are available for mokopuna to join Te Kura o Ngāpuke. We have an amazing staff, and a fun, creative, curriculum, that honours the key values of our culture and community, whilst also equipping our mokopuna for the future. Make an appointment for an interview with Whaea Waverly, whose details are below. We look forward to whānau joining our incredible kaupapa!
